The Doctors work a rota system within the advertised times and offer both morning and afternoon surgeries with bookable on the day appointments.
We offer both on the day face to face appointments and telephone consultations at the practice which can both be booked by phoning the practice at 8am. We also offer pre-bookable face to face GP appointments which can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.
Our telephone lines are usually busy between 8am - 9am, during which time you experience some delay in contacting the surgery.
Please be aware, when you are calling to book a an appointment, the Administrative Team will ask you for a brief description of the problem you are calling about. This is to ensure you are booked in with the most appropriate clinician / service. All Practice staff are bound by the same confidentiality agreement; please assist our team to ensure the best outcome.
If you feel you have to be seen urgently, please inform the receptionist who will request your details and a brief description of the emergency. This information will be passed to the on-call doctor to assess and if necessary, an appointment will be given for that day.
Cancellations
Appointments are valuable and failure to answer the call or attend the surgery means that the appointment and doctor’s time is wasted. Please be responsible and cancel any telephone consultations or appointments at the earliest opportunity. This will also allow our staff to offer this appointment to another patient. On-going non attendance will eventually result in removal from our practice list.
