Princes Street Surgery

Welcome to Princes Street Surgery. We are a General Practitioners surgery covering the Dundee area and dealing with a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.

The doctors, nurses and other staff who work at Princes Street Surgery aim to provide the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. 

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases, such as asthma and diabetes, and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery and childhood vaccinations. We also provide medicals such as Seafarers ENG and Offshore.

*APPOINTMENTS*

We offer both face to face appointments and telephone consultations at the practice which can be booked on the day by phoning the practice at 8am. We also offer pre-bookable appointments which can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.  You are welcome to request your appointment of choice with our staff.

The admin staff will still ask for a brief description of why you are calling so they can signpost you to the most appropriate appointment type and service.  Our admin staff are supported and trained by our doctors. 

We ask that you be respectful towards our staff at all times. 

*Further Services*

For some minor illnesses you may be asked to attend the pharmacy instead of the GP. 

The Pharmacy First Service is an NHS service provided by your local community pharmacy

(a pharmacy with a contract to provide NHS prescriptions and services).

If you have a minor illness, a pharmacy is the first place you should go for advice.

You do not usually need an appointment and you can go to any pharmacy.

* CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) UPDATE *

 Face coverings are no longer mandatory within the practice however this is down to the individual and is personal choice. Masks can be provided at the front desk if necessary.
